Delani Buchan

Delani is an associate with RWE Family Law. Delani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Simon Fraser University. She obtained her law degree from Thompson Rivers University (“TRU”). Her passion for family law developed while providing legal services to marginalized clients at the TRU Community Legal Clinic. Delani also volunteered with Pro-Bono Students Canada, where she helped research measures to support self-represented litigants.

Delani’s compassion and desire to help people is what drew her to family law. She is focused on finding the right legal path that is tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, whether that is through collaborative negotiation and mediation or litigating in court.

Prior to joining RWE Family Law, Delani gained a wealth of knowledge articling at a national firm in Vancouver where she honed her skills as a litigator and a solicitor. This experience has helped her develop a holistic approach to family law.

When not practicing law, Delani enjoys running, being outdoors in nature, baking, travelling and playing soccer.
