Desiree AcostaRWE Family Law
Desiree Acosta is a senior lawyer who practices in all areas of family law. She has a passion for litigation and strives to advocate for people who are facing challenging legal issues.
Desiree has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. She has successfully dealt with cases related to guardianship, parenting arrangements, support, relocation, protection orders, property division, child apprehension and maintenance enforcement. Desiree has also been successful in mediation, and has experience drafting complex cohabitation agreements and separation agreements.
Desiree volunteers her time by giving family law lectures to various community organizations, and providing pro-bono services at a legal clinic on a monthly basis. Desiree is also family duty counsel at the Port Coquitlam Provincial Court.
Prior to joining RWE Family Law, Desiree articled in Vancouver at a boutique family and child protection law firm. Desiree’s interests include baking, travelling, hiking, exercising and anything outdoors.
